  5. GPS Map is a unique navigation tool for Newton compatible PDAs.
  6. In combination with a GPS receiver (not needed for demo) the PDA will 
  7. show your current position directly on a digital moving map. Many advanced 
  8. features like route planning and mission recorder make the power of the 
  9. system directly comparable to that of much more expensive specialized
  10. navigation systems.

  12. The demo version is fully operational but there is no GPS driver included.
  13. Instead a demo circle flight above Friedrichshafen at Germany will be 
  14. simulated.

  16. If you have already installed a previous version of GPS Map please remove
  17. that version and all data produced by it from your PDA because of data
  18. formats have changed. Your old GPS Map version can do that automatically 
  19. if you select "Prepare removing GPS Map" within the Preferences window.

  21. At this time GPS Map is offered within Germany and bordering countries for
  22. aviation use, together with ICAO maps of Germany and Switzerland by:

  29. It is possible to produce your own maps by using the optional Map Prepa-
  30. ration Package. See the manual for details.

  50. countries especially US, Australia and Canada. If you are interested 
  51. you should have connections to local map suppliers and you should be 
  52. able to support your customers with the most important local maps in 
  53. GPS Map format.
